These food-grade fiber pens can be used to write directly on marzipan, rolled fondant, fondant paper, gumpaste, royal icing, and wafer paper. Marzipan, rolled fondant, gumpaste, and royal icing should dry for 24 hours before painting. Powdered sugar and any fat residue should be removed from the surface.
